TFPA Annual Meeting 2010
As a volunteer organization the TFPA relies on our committed volunteers that give their time and talent. Participation in one or several of our committees as a volunteer is a great way to get involved and maximize your membership – members have direct responsibility for organizing and implementing TFPA events, programs and growth strategies.
Scholarship Auction: Ask anyone who was on the committee last year and they will tell you that this is the committee to serve on if you like good food and adult beverages. The group meets throughout the year planning for our largest fundraising event held each spring at the annual conference. Each year the auction committee raises the bar to another level and there is a great sense of pride knowing that the money raised goes to deserving students. Volunteers are needed for selling sponsorship theme tables, shopping for auction items, clerical work, telephone calls, logistics, and the power point presentation during the auction and much more.
