DR. MOLLY KAYE McADAMS

H-E-B Grocery Company

Molly currently serves as Vice President of Own Brand for H-E-B in San Antonio, TX. H-E-B is a privately-held regional retailer with over 300 outlets and $13.5 billion annualized sales. Molly’s primary emphasis is on the development of branding and marketing strategies for the brand portfolio that HEB owns and manages.

Molly developed the innovative HEB Fully Cooked meats – with over 250 items – that include such items as an 18 hour pit-smoked brisket and microwavable hamburgers with fresh-grilled flavor. Dr. McAdams also led the product development initiatives for meat, seafood, deli, bakery and produce departments at HEB. She now heads product development and branding for all store categories.

Molly is a Florida native, and a graduate of the University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. with Texas Tech University. Molly, her husband Jim, and their son, John Kohl, live in Adkins, Texas. Another son, Will, recently completed service to our country as a Ranger serving in the US Army’s 82^nd Airborne Division. He is living in Austin, Texas and planning the next phase of his life as a civilian.
